Novelist Emilly Sullivan visited our Meriden, Connecticut Studio The Sassy Space to be photographed by our Queen of Sass. She needed a fresh headshot for her upcoming book, as well as images to use in general media & socially.

Emily is an award-winning author of historical romance set in the late Victorian period. Her debut novel, A Rogue To Remember, was named one of Booklist’s Ten Best Romance Debuts of 2021. Emily’s books have received multiple starred reviews from trade journals and have been praised in publications such as Entertainment Weekly, Buzzfeed, Self, and Bookpage.

 She has both a BA and MA in English and her writing has been featured in a variety of print and online publications, including The Southampton Review and The Toast. A four-time Golden Heart finalist, she won in 2019 for Best Historical Romance.

She lives in New England with her family and manages to squeeze in writing time when she isn’t busy chasing after her funny, fearless toddler.
